What the app uses

The locally running agent uses authorized Gmail access to read job-alert emails, original sent digests, practice reminders, and legacy completion check-ins. It sends job digests and coding-practice reminders. It compares job descriptions with a candidate profile provided by the account owner.

The tracker contains company and role details, posting URLs, match scores, recommendation dates, application statuses and dates, follow-up dates, company restrictions, notes, and coding-practice delivery and completion history.

Where the information goes

The local agent stores its history in databases on the owner's computer and synchronizes tracker entries to a private Google Sheet. The website reads and updates that Sheet through a server-side Cloudflare Worker after checking the signed-in user's identity. The browser receives tracker entries only after authorization.

The agent sends job-description text and candidate-profile information to DeepSeek to generate match assessments. When a job page cannot be read, relevant job information extracted from an alert email may be used instead. The public website does not run those AI assessments. Google, Cloudflare, and DeepSeek process data under their respective service terms and privacy practices.

Access and credentials

Google OAuth tokens are stored locally for the scheduled tasks. The website's Google Sheets credentials are stored as server-side Cloudflare secrets, not in public assets or browser code. Cloudflare Access verifies the permitted account before the private workspace can be used. Authentication uses necessary session cookies; the app does not add advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Purpose and sharing

Information is used to prepare recommendations, send requested reminders, and maintain the personal tracker. The app does not sell user data or use it for advertising. Posting links lead to external websites governed by their own policies. The public informational pages contain no private tracker records.

Retention and control

Records remain in the local databases and Google Sheet until the owner removes them. Removing an entry in only one location may allow it to be imported again from retained history. To request or carry out deletion, remove the relevant local history and Sheet records and review retained email copies. Revoking Google access stops future authorized access but does not delete previously stored records.

The account owner can revoke the app through Google Account security settings, remove Cloudflare secrets, and stop the scheduled tasks. Contact the operator at the address above for data questions or deletion assistance.

Public pages and updates

Cloudflare serves these pages and may process connection information for delivery and security. Changes to the app's data handling will be reflected on this page.
